Vikram Gupta

From 2008 to 2014, Vikram went to Carnegie Mellon University and University or Porto under the CMU-Portugal program to pursue PhD in Computer Engineering. As a part of his PhD, Vikram’s research won the best paper award at Sensys 09 among several highly cited publications. After finishing the doctoral studies, he came back to India to found Awiros, a technology startup based in Delhi that is building the world’s first Video Intelligence Operating System.

Sérgio Pequito

Sérgio Pequito is an Associate Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, and a principal investigator at the Institute for Systems and Robotics – Lisbon. His research explores large-scale system behavior, spanning neuroscience and biomedicine, leveraging control theory for brain dynamics and personalized medicine.

Shaolong Liu

Shaolong Liu received the Ph.D. degree from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA, in 2017 and the Ph.D. degree from Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal, in 2018, both in electrical and computer engineering. His current research interests include analog/mixed-signal circuits, ultra-low power systems, and analog signal processing.
