Daragh Byrne, Associate Professor in the School of Architecture, visited Portugal in October 2025, combining working sessions on two doctoral research projects with embedded participation in ITI’s research culture.


Laurie Heller, Professor of Psychology at Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences and director of the AuditoryLab, was a guest lecturer at Universidade de Coimbra for CogBooster’s research team, during her visit to Portugal in November 2025.


Nikolas Martelaro, Assistant Professor at Human-Computer Interaction Institute (HCII), conducted a visiting research period at the University of Lisbon and the University of Madeira in Funchal.
