Good Partnership between University of Madeira and Carnegie Mellon University

Parceria proveitosa On October 27th, 2009, in Madeira, Portugal, more than 120 professors, and managers from companies like Nokia and Microsoft attended the Service Design Conference. During the opening remarks of the event, Francisco Fernandes, regional secretary of Education and Culture, commented about the partnership between the two Universities, He says “it is being very good.”

Oliver Williamson The name chosen for the prize in Economic Science in memory of Alfred Nobel, The Nobel Prize in Economics, surprised almost everyone. Oliver Williamson, started his career as a student at MIT, Stanford, then went through and finished a Ph.D. at Carnegie Mellon University. He received the news of being the Nobel Price winner, just 15 days after turning into 77 years.
