When VideoGames Become Science
The Presidents of the Conference’s Organizing Committee, Veronica Orvalho, professor and researcher at the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto, and A. Augusto Sousa, professor and researcher at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, highlighted that “in a country where the industrial production of electronic games is not abundant, this initiative takes a fundamental importance in bringing together the technical and scientific community of this area and is an excellent forum for sharing experiences and leverage the same production”. The presence of Don Marinelli, co-founder and executive producer of Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University is confirmed.
