Muhammad Fuzail

A policy and strategic management passionate with academic & professional expertise rooted in strategic planning, requirements engineering, designing & integration of user-oriented Product & service systems (PSS) as well as their life-cycle management. Keen on exploring Social Policy Entrepreneurship initiatives with an aim to deliver sustainable and circular solutions that may be well received by all of the societies’ stakeholders, including consumers, producers, and policy makers. Avid about employing my technical liaison and strategic management skills to complement the technological knowledge towards achieving optimum progression of projects, policy design/analysis, and subsequent life cycles of such solutions.

Reyhaneh Mohsenzadeh Yazdi

Reyhaneh is an experienced socioeconomic, data statistics analyzer, and market analyst with a demonstrated history of working in the fields of industry, economics, education, and international commercial sectors since 2011. She received her Master’s degree in economic and social statistics from Shahid Beheshti University, Iran. Her main research interests are technology, management, sustainability, industry, business data engineering, and healthcare. Reyhaneh has been collaborating on various R&D projects in industry and besides, she has experience as a lecturer at the Science & Art University in the field of statistics, computers, foreign Trade, and probabilities.

Álvaro Silva

Álvaro Silva, a Ph.D. candidate at FEUP in Portugal, aspires to research the interconnection between Formal Verification and generative AI applications. Previously, Álvaro was an ASIC Digital Design Staff Engineer at Synopsys, where he performed functional and formal digital IP verification for automotive-grade products. In this role, Álvaro gained an appreciation for software verification and the challenges it presents. He holds an integrated Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from FEUP, where he graduated with a GPA of 19/20. Recognized for his academic excellence, Álvaro was awarded two merit scholarships.

 

Sofia Ferraz

I have a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Porto. My research focuses on developing AI-driven solutions for cardiac assessment using POCUS, integrating deep learning to improve diagnostic accessibility.

I collaborate with INESC TEC, supervised by Prof. João Pedrosa and Prof. Miguel Coimbra, and work with Prof. Vijayakumar Bhagavatula at Carnegie Mellon University under the CMU Portugal Program, combining engineering and medicine through innovative computational methods.

Afonso Lourenço

Afonso Lourenço has earned B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management from FEUP. His research interests primarily focus on data stream mining, a field dedicated to extracting valuable insights from data that is continuously in flux.
