Hugo Pereira completed his MSc in Computer Science and Engineering at the School of Science and Technology of NOVA University of Lisbon in November 2024, following his BSc from the same institution in July 2022. His research interests focus on network security, privacy-enhancing technologies, and trusted decentralized systems.
Afonso Vilalonga holds a BSc and an MSc in Computer Science Engineering from the School of Science and Technology at NOVA University of Lisbon, obtained in July 2020 and December 2022, respectively. His main research areas of interest are network security and privacy, privacy-preserving machine learning and communications, cloud and IoT security, and Internet censorship circumvention.
I am a CS PhD student at Nova SST, working in: Network Security, Fault Tolerant Distributed Systems, Blockchains, and Privacy-Preserving Computation. I have great interest in all aforementioned areas and aim to explore them further during my PhD, all the while finding engaging problems and trying my hand at fixing them (hopefully with some success).
