Mobileum was awarded a USD 2.1 million (EUR 1.8 million) R&D investment grant by the EU to expand RAID risk management platform 5G functionalities. This will help it enhance its capacity to scale revenue assurance, fraud management and network security programmes as telecom operators roll out 5G and advance their digital transformation agenda, the company said.
AIDA project aims to detect fraud on 5G networks
The AIDA project should be completed in the second half of 2022, after which Mobileum will carry out a proof of concept with a client before making the new technologies widely available.
