OutSystems Launches Research Projects with Carnegie Mellon and Several Universities Aimed at Revolutionizing App Development

OutSystems, provider of the number one low-code application development
platform, today announced that the Portuguese government has agreed to
co-finance €5.1 million through the Portugal 2020 economic development program for a pair of innovative research and development programs led by OutSystems.
The DEV4ALL and GOLEM projects, done in partnership with Carnegie Mellon and several universities and research institutions, aim to accelerate disruptive
innovation in the low-code development industry and make app development more accessible to non-technical people, also known as citizen developers.
