Researchers at the University of Carnegie Mellon in the United States in the last five years have developed a robotic aerial vehicle for search and rescue missions. The mini-helicopter is capable of flying at low altitude and fly in tight spaces and independently, as a 3D laser equipment allows it to detect obstacles.
