| This sentence was uttered by the Portuguese ambassador Washington, DC, João de Vallera. In an interview to a Portuguese newspaper, Vallera explained that the investment from EDP (Electricity of Portugal), a Portuguese company in the energy sector, will strengthen and increase the commercial exchanges with the biggest economy in the world. Other positive examples are the partnerships established in areas like research and education with American universities, such as MIT and Carnegie Mellon University. |
