The Women’s Summit is Here – Conferences on Women’s Issues
To discuss women’s issues and further the agenda that has been in the public conversation for a while now, Porto will be hosting the Women’s Summit’ 17, an event that will gather some of the most successful women in Portuguese society, at Palácio da Bolsa on March 7 and 8, 2017.
CMU Portugal Program Principal Investigators Susana Sargento and Manuela Veloso have an active participation in the conferences. Susana Sargento is one of the speakers on the “Science and Technology” panel and Manuela Veloso is on the Honour Commission of the summit.
The organizer of this event, the “One World” magazine, states through its director, José Marques da Silva, that the objective is not only to talk about true equality and representation, but also to prove it, by giving a voice to accomplished women to discuss what really matters to them.
