“The scientific community is getting stronger”
The President of the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, Paulo Ferrão, was interviewed by the Portuguese newspaper Expresso regarding the event Ciência 2016, where the Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program (CMU Portugal) was present.

Paulo Ferrão, also Chairman of the Board of Directors of CMU Portugal, talked about the importance of international partnerships such as CMU Portugal and its projects and research. Paulo Ferrão highlighted Susana Sargento’s work and award – European Union 2016 Woman Innovator. Susana is a Principal Investigator on CMU Portugal’s projects DRIVE-IN and S2MovingCity and co-founder of Veniam.
