“João Barros takes lead CMU|Portugal” – After the first phase of exploring, which happened in 2007 and 2008, the program Carnegie Mellon|Portugal entered a new stage, which is characterized by a strong scientific leadership to consolidate the cases of success and the positive effects in universities. João Barros, professor of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto (FEUP) recently made the commitment to lead the new team of directors in Portugal.
