CMU Portugal Students Visit to Fallingwater

On Friday, July 25th, a group of 10 CMU Portugal students currently studying in Pittsburgh took a trip to Fallingwater, a house museum in the beautiful mountains of Southwestern Pennsylvania designed by renowned American architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

Attending students were from 5 CMU departments: Computer Science (CS), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Mechanical Engineering (MECHE) and Societal Engineering (S3D).

This was a great way to end the summer semester as the Program prepares to welcome 10 new Dual Degree PhD students, four who will start their first semester in Pittsburgh.

Later in the Fall semester, the CMU Portugal Program will also welcome 12 visiting students and faculty members, who will be joining the CMU Portugal community in Pittsburgh.
