CMU Portugal at CMU hosted a pumpkin decorating event in Scott Hall on Wednesday, October 30th, in celebration of Halloween. This event brought together 18 Dual Degree Ph.D. and Affiliated Ph.D. students currently studying at in Pittsburgh as well as visitors from the Visiting Students and Visiting Faculty and Researchers Programs. Attending students were from multiple CMU departments including Software and Societal Systems (S3D), Language Technologies Institute (LTI), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Computer Science (CS), Mechanical Engineering (MECHE)Â and Robotics.
As the visiting students and faculty began to arrive in Pittsburgh, this event offered an opportunity for CMU Portugal affiliates to gather together for a creative, networking event.Â
