OutSystems and the CMU Alumni Portugal Chapter are organizing an event about the #1 Rapid Application Delivery Platform for the Enterprise. The goal is to learn a bit about the OutSystems history, the challenges OutSystems faces everyday, and to get to know some of the people that make all of this possible. All the students and alumni are invited to participate.
The speakers will be:
Lúcio Ferão , principal engineer and co-founder, will tell how OutSystems grew from a small garage company to leader in Gartner magic quadrant with a strong international presence;
João Rodrigues , UX expert and CMU alumni (MHCI’11) will tell you a little bit about the opportunities and challenges of Enterprise UX, while shedding some light on how his CMU background helps him on his daily tasks.
Ricardo Marques , software engineer, security expert and CMU alumni (MSIT-IS’08) will tell why a company like OutSystems needs a SWAT team, the kind of challenges that the team addresses and how the education received from CMU plays an important role in these tasks.
