“Bolsas Papers@USA” – Call 2016
The Luso-American Development Foundation (FLAD) is awarding grants for oral presentations at USA conferences, to foster the internationalization of the scientific knowledge produced in Portugal. The grants will not cover poster presentations. Applications must be individual and submitted online here.
Candidates must comply to the following requirements:
– Portuguese nationality or residency;
– English language proficiency;
– Hold a position of doctoral student, professor or researcher in a Portuguese Higher Education Institution and / or research center;
– Submit a letter of recommendation from the Portuguese Host Institution;
– Submit a proof of acceptance to present at the conference, issued by the event’s organization (if this document is not yet available at the time of application, the candidate will have 30 days after the call’s deadline to submit it).
Application deadlines for oral presentations in USA conferences beginning in:
· January 2016: applications submitted until September 30, 2015
· February 2016: applications submitted until October 31, 2015
· March 2016: applications submitted until November 30, 2015
· April 2016: applications submitted until December 31, 2015
· May 2016: applications submitted until January 31, 2016
· June 2016: applications submitted until February 29, 2016
· July 2016: applications submitted until March 31, 2016
· August 2016: applications submitted until April 30, 2016
· September 2016: applications submitted until May 31, 2016
· October 2016: applications submitted until June 30, 2016
· November 2016: applications submitted until July 31, 2016
· December 2016: applications submitted until August 31, 2016
Results will be announced within 60 days after the closing date of the application.
