The founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, returning for the third time to Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh in the United States, on September 22nd to inaugurate the new Computer Center. Students included in the Carnegie Mellon | Portugal Program will be able to enjoy this center. Built with a donation of 20 million dollars from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Gates Center for Computer Science promotes interdisciplinary teaching and research activities, particularly in areas such as computer security and artificial intelligence, which are crucial for the future of computing. |
