In two different paper editions of an Azorean newspaper (Correio dos Açores), Ricardo Cabral, an Alumnus of the dual degree doctoral program in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) and Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), offered by CMU Portugal Program, was elected as one of the ten most important personalities of Azores in 2015 and also distinguished as one of the 15 young talents of Azores in 2015.
In both editions, Ricardo Cabral was distinguished in the “Research” category. The newspaper mentions the 2014 IBM award he won and his stay at Google and the fact that he is now working at Apple.
