AddVolt, a company that participated in the CMU Portugal InRes Program, established a major Strategic Agreement with Carrier Transicold

AddVolt reinforces its commitment to offer an electrical future through a partnership with Carrier Transicold, part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), the leading global provider of healthy, safe and sustainable building, and cold chain solutions. This strategic partnership will allow Carrier Transicold to accelerate and advance its electrification capabilities.

AddVolt benefited early on from the CMU Portugal Program inRes 2014 Edition. This initiative was an early-stage acceleration program for entrepreneurial teams working in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), launched in 2014 and supported during the CMU Portugal Program second phase (2012–2017).

This recent agreement enables the company to broadly utilize AddVolt’s proven, engine-agnostic technology to develop innovative sustainable transport refrigeration solutions for customers in Europe. Further, the system is telematics-enabled and compatible with Carrier’s new Lynx™ digital platform, allowing customers to use data to make faster decisions to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability of their supply chains.
