Filipa Mota

Filipa Mota is a Ph.D. candidate in Electronic and Computer Engineering at the University of Minho, working in NEMS technology. She earned both her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Engineering Physics from the same institution. Between 2023 and 2025, she worked as a Research Assistant in the Hanay Research Group at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL) in Braga, Portugal, where she focused on the design, microfabrication, and characterization of MEMS devices.

Lourenço Mourão

I hold a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa and Instituto Superior Técnico, respectively. My research sits at the intersection of Computer Graphics and Machine Learning, with a focus on developing optimized solutions for realistic and highly performant physics-based simulations.
