inRes 2014 :: Xhockware Xhockware Receives 2.5 M€ From Horizon 2020
Xhockware, one of the selected teams for the 2014 edition of inRes, a very early stage acceleration program, offered by the CMU Portugal Program, received 2.5 M€ from the European Commission funding program Horizon 2020. The funds will be used to carry out market tests of their product: YouBeep.
YouBeep, created by Xhockware, is a patented new checkout system, compatible with every existing checkout and it allows shoppers to checkout a full shopping cart, pay and leave the store in under a minute. This system can already be found in six Portuguese supermarkets from Lidl and Pingo Doce chains.
