Williamson wins Nobel for study of transaction costs

This professor studied economics and management to the highest level of education in the English-speaking countries. At 77, Oliver Eaton Williamson, renowned North American author and expert in the economics of transaction costs, saw his work honored with the Prize in Economic Sciences, better known as the Nobel Prize in economics. University professor and philosopher of economic science, Williamson studied management at the MIT Sloan School of Management in 1955, took an MBA at Stanford University in 1960 and his Ph.D. three years later at Carnegie Mellon University. This doctorate is the highest level in education in English-speaking countries. |
