The Creation of the Lord of the Rings’ Gollum Explained in Porto
Who enjoyed the saga of Lord of the Rings version adapted for the screen by Peter Jackson, does not forget the Gollum / Smeagol character – a tacky old creature who was once a hobbit, especially for its facial animation features. The Videogames 2011 conference took place in the department of Computer Sciences, Faculty of Science, University of Porto (FCUP), and was organized with the support of other institutions as the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, the Portuguese Society of Video Games and Telecommunications Institute (IT) and with the partnership of the Carnegie Mellon Portugal program and UT Austin Program.
