The CMU Portugal was Renewed with a Particular Attention to Innovation and New Business Opportunities
The Carnegie Mellon Portugal program has become the first of the partnerships between US and Portuguese universities and research centres to be renewed. According to professor João Barros, national director of the program, the current government not only publicly acknowledged the value of the partnership, but also decided to invest decisively in its continuity for another five years, with special emphasis in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship.
