Veniam was considered one of the 50 most disruptive companies in the world, according to a ranking published by CNBC. Working on the implementation of Wi-Fi technology in vehicles, the company was also considered one of the world’s top 15 in the wireless industry, according to FierceWireless.
Moreover, the performance and innovative nature of Veniam’s technology has been proven in the US, Europe and Asia. Case in point, the company has been widely recognized internationally through a number of industry awards both in the telecom and the automotive sectors. In 2016, besides being considered among 750 competitors one of the 50 most innovative companies in America, Veniam was ranked on the 28th position, after building the world largest network of connected vehicles in Porto, Portugal, and supporting more than 5 million internet sessions to delivering key managed services for intelligent transportation systems and urban services in New York and Singapore. Since the beginning of 2016, Veniam has won several relevant awards, including: winner of TU Automotive Best Auto Mobility Product/Service 2016, and it is shortlisted in 2017 with its ConnectAV product; winner of the award “Fazemos Bem”, given by the Portuguese centenary newspaper Jornal de Notícias.
