Ricardo Cabral: The Portuguese Ph.D. at the Genesis of Google Indoor Maps
Ricardo Cabral is a dual degree Ph.D. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering, at CMU and IST/UL, that defended his dissertation early February, 2015. He brought Google Glass to Portugal in 2014 and now the company has already invited him to join the ranks at Mountain View, but Ricardo Cabral hasn’t accepted yet and replies with a smile to the journalist: “Who knows if something better comes along in the meantime?”
