Portugal wins world prize to robotic soccer

It’s called “Autonomous Agents Research Award” in 2009, it is the largest prize in the world of robotics and artificial intelligence, and has just been won by an English scientist.
Manuela Veloso, Professor of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh (USA), was included with the international association’s annual trophy ACM / SIGART because of their pioneering research in the area of robotic soccer. Read more (pdf).
