Patient Innovation: Innovative Medical Solutions
The Portuguese television channel SIC interviewed Profs. Pedro Oliveira (CLSBE) and Helena Canhão (FMUL) on the Patient Innovation platform. This online platform and social network (international, multilingual and non-profit) aims to facilitate the sharing of innovative solutions developed by patients or caregivers of any disease and is the result of research led by Católica-Lisbon.
The Patient Innovation platform is an outcome of the “The Role of ‘User Innovators’ in the Development of Telecom Products and Services” project and it is currently developed by the “TEIPL:Technology, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Policy Lab” ERI, offered by the Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program and funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia.
