Entrepreneurial Research Initiative :: INSIDE INSIDE: A Robot in the Hospital
The Entrepreneurial Research Initiative (ERI) Intelligent Networked Robot Systems for Symbiotic Interaction with Children with Impaired Development (INSIDE) is featured in the June edition of the Portuguese magazine Exame Informática.
The ERI is focused on the development of a technology platform that includes a robot able to establish social relationships with autistic children. In July, IPO and Garcia de Orta will test the robot in therapy with 10 autistic children.
INSIDE is supported by Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program and funded by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia and it ends in the summer of 2018.
