inRes teams present the results of their immersion period in Pittsburgh inRes Closing Session – Entrepreneurial Teams Present US Immersion Results
The four teams of Portuguese entrepreneurs selected for the 2016 edition of inRes have returned from their seven-week immersion period in Pittsburgh, in the scope of the Carnegie Mellon Portugal business acceleration program.
The startups All in Surf, Helppier, Soft Bionics and Tactile Wireless Evolution (TWEvo), were represented at the inRes Closing Session, that took place in the Science and Technology Park of University of Porto (UPTEC). The team members talked about what they learned and achieved while in the US.
This session also had the presence of the 2014 edition teams: AddVolt, Displr, Followprice and Xhockware, and last years’ teams as well: Adapttech, Playsketch, Sceelix and Scraim. The guest speakers of this event were Paulo Espregueira Magalhães, Founder and CEO of Tlantic, Kit Needham, Associate Director of the Project Olympus and Reed McManigle, Senior Manager of the Center for Technology Transfer and Enterprise Creation (CTTEC), both at CMU.
