“Future Cities” project receives 2.3 million Euros of funding
The European project “Future Cities”, led by the Centro de Competências para as Cidades do Futuro of the Universidade do Porto, wants to transform the city of Porto into a “living laboratory” at an urban scale, aiming to “help to put the city among the most innovative in Europe “. Other than various colleges and research units of the Universidade do Porto, also collaborate in the project the Universidade de Aveiro, the Instituto de Telecomunicações, the Carnegie Mellon University and MIT, Porto City Hall, Porto Digital, STCP and dozens of SMEs.
