CMU Portugal PhD Alumn André Regateiro – A Portrait of the Industry in Portugal
The medium sized companies represented 22% of all business transactions in Portugal as well as 16% of created positions in the same year. However, the general idea persists that the large corporations contribute more to the economy. This and other generalizations are examined in the research of Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program recent PhD graduate, André Regateiro, featured in this report. André discusses his thesis findings and earlier papers that focus on the Portuguese economic environment.
