The CMU Portugal Program has its first call of 2016 for the Undergraduate Internship Program. This call will be open until February 25 2016, and it is targeted to undergraduates enrolled in a master program, or equivalent, at the time of application, or holders of a master degree, or equivalent, granted less than 2 years before the time of application.
The selected candidates have the opportunity to spend eight to twelve weeks at CMU to participate in state-of-the-art research projects, interact with prominent research teams, and be mentored by leading faculty and researchers.
Launched in 2014, the program has involved 28 young researchers from different academic institutions in Portugal, namely: Católica Lisbon School; Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra; Universidade de Coimbra; Universidade de Lisboa; Universidade da Madeira; Universidade Nova de Lisboa; and Universidade do Porto. These researchers were able to develop their knowledge and skills as researchers, and open their perspectives for graduate studies and career opportunities in ICT.
