Changes in the universities were well accepted

 

After meeting with Castanheira da Costa, dean of the University of Madeira (UMa),and candidate Isabel Sena Lino who said on yesterday, the measures introduced by the Central Government in higher education were well received by Universities in the Portugal area. Isabel Sena Lino highlighted the promotion of the internationalization of higher education in Portugal. In this context she cited the cooperation within the CMU-Portugal Program, launched in 2006 between the Portuguese government, through the Foundation for Science and Technology, and Carnegie Mellon University in U.S.A. in the area of information technology and communication.
