Applications for eight dual degree Ph. D. fellowships from the CMU Portugal Program, funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, are open for the 2018/2019 school year. The deadline for submitting applications for these Ph. D.s which include two degrees – that of the selected Portuguese university and that of Carnegie Mellon University – depends on the area of research considered.
The deadlines for applications differ according to the course. Candidates who want to apply for Computer Science, Software Engineering or Language Technologies have until December 14 to submit. On the next day, December 15, applications for Electronic and Computer Engineering, as well as for Mechanical Engineering, will end. Those interested in Engineering and Public Policy, have a little more time to apply, until January 1, 2018. The Applied Mathematics and Technological Change and Entrepreneurship courses will accept applications until January 15, 2018. For more information and to apply click here.
