Five years have passed since the beginning of the Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program – and they surely are worthy to be celebrated. The Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program is a collaboration between Carnegie Mellon University, nine Portuguese universities and more than 80 companies, financed by the State and the companies. Carnegie Mellon – located in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County – is one of the world’s best universities in Information and Communication Technologies, and gave birth to Software Engineering Institute and dozens of Nobel and Turing prizes.
