Agreement of Lajes earns much cooperation

Most of the agreements concluded between the Portuguese authorities and the U.S. is based on the Agreement on Cooperation and Defense between Portugal and the United States, which grants the Pentagon the use of base facilities in moderation . The case of Carnegie Mellon and Portugal, signed between the Portuguese Government and American University, the subject of cooperation, relates to projects in the field of information processing networks, including critical infrastructure and risk analysis, as well as areas of applied mathematics, technology, innovation and policy.
