313 foreign graduates at the University of Madeira

313 students with foreign citizenship have graduated from the Universidade da Madeira (UMa). According to the data provided to DIARIO, most of these former students have diploma courses of the 1st Cycle (79) or degrees (109) as they were known before the Bologna process. Up next are the masters (17) or 2nd cycle courses (58) and finally the 3rd cycle courses (19) and PhDs (4). Above all, UMa’s investment in partnerships with other universities (Carnegie Mellon, USA, Donghua, China, and others) over the last years and the offer of courses taught in English in attractive areas such as new technologies and other (courses like Master in MSc in Nanomaterials and Nanochemistry, taught at the Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute – M-ITI, etc.).
