2013 Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program Student Orientation Date: October 19, 2013
Place: Porto
Registration form: http://tinyurl.com/CMU-Portugal-OrientationDay
Every year we organize the Orientation Day in Portugal, to welcome the newly enrolled students and those that are arriving in Portugal for the first time. All the students are invited to actively participate in this event that seeks to provide a better understanding of the CMU Portugal Program, as well as to provide a moment of networking and sharing of life experiences.
As some of you may know, we are a community of more than 500 young and senior researchers from all over the world, that together contribute to the mission of the CMU Portugal Program, which is “to create new knowledge in key focused areas of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by means of cutting edge research, world-class graduate education and a close connection with the Portuguese industry, thus placing Portugal at the forefront of Science and Innovation.”
The Orientation Day will be on October 19th, in Porto, and we invite you all to join us!
