The Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program will organize its annual Project Review Meeting at FCT on March 25 and 26, to conduct mid-term and final project evaluations held by an External Review Committee.

This panel of experts will evaluate the work developed by the projects launched under the 2013 and 2014 CMU Portugal Call for Entrepreneurial Research Initiatives (ERIs), funded by the Science and Technology Foundation (FCT). These calls funded 12 projects in science, engineering, management and policy that integrate activities in research, innovation, advanced education and training of human resources, with industry collaboration and emphasis on the commercialization of technology for real world impact. The mission of the ERIs is to stimulate and promote Portuguese innovation in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), by acting as international innovation engines, embedded in global knowledge and business networks, to train creative innovators, and translate them into products , processes and services.
