With the approval of the third phase of the Carnegie Mellon International partnership, we have the opportunity to appoint Scientific Directors of the Program. We invite nominations, including self-nominations, for Scientific Director of the Carnegie Mellon|Portugal International partnership — a three-year term. This is a volunteer position.
Scientific Directors help the Partnership Directors in refining the strategic areas of research within the broad field of information and communication technologies, namely the data science and engineering framework set by the Phase III amendment. The Scientific Directors also help with advising the Directors and the Board on preparing and revising terms of reference for calls for projects, assisting in evaluating calls for internships and faculty exchange, and assisting in disseminating the program in their respective communities of interest.
